Lean In Circle

I was totally mind blown when I came to know about the existence of such a powerful community.

What Lean In is trying to do is create a circle or a space where women working within an organisation or in the same community can get together, share their experiences, knowledge and express their vulnerabilites, and receive proper feedback/mentorship on how to overcome these issues.

There is a factor or "relatability" here. There experiences or the advice from a circle will be highly relatable and I guess this is what drives or makes the whole thing work.

When I was in college, most of the women communities lacked this factor of relatability. They used to take or tell stories about people from other countries, women outside their "circle" to solve the problems or give a direction to women in a particular circle. Apart from a temporary sense of inspiration, I believe this practice didn't answer any questions.

This trend is not limited to communities around women but most of the communities. I love how Lean in Circle makes use of relatability.
